Course Description

This course is designed to enable students to explore various career opportunities within the Education and Training Cluster, including the Teaching/Training Pathway, the Professional Support Services Pathway, and the Administration and Administrative Support Pathway. The course covers important essential skills for the workplace, including decision making, teamwork and collaboration, conflict management, employability skills (e.g., problem solving, professionalism, and leadership), and ethics in business. In addition, the course covers subjects related to building a career and achieving success, such as career testing, higher learning, and portfolio development. Professional communication, effective written communication, and mathematics in various workplace settings are also discussed.
